The moon was high in the night sky, shining very little light. Heartless began walking, slowly and carefully, down the alley. The big, yellow eyes made almost as much light as the moon as they crept along. Suddenly, they were swept away with one swing of a sword. Tearoff stepped out of the shadows as the hearts were released into the sky. The man sheathed ORION, his demon sword, the sword he just used to wipe out the Heartless. He sighed, picking up some munny. It wasn't his job to keep Radiant Garden free of Heartless and Nobody's. From what he heard around town, it was Sora's job, some kid wielding a weapon called a Keyblade.
The man walked to the far end of the alley way and sat down, his back against a brick wall. He took the bag slung over his shoulder and rummaged in it until he found an apple. He instantly bit into it, juice dripping down his chin. He was tired, after a long night of pointless clues from his wife's death. All of them just brought him round in a circle, until he was back where he started; not knowing a thing.

hollow bastion a dark and dead world, Ardrid had been to the world many times in his young life, before it came to a end. But things have changed and his sadness is great and so is the sad ness of many others in the world. A door to darkness opens and a cold wind slips out along with young Ardrid. he steps out of the door onto a roof top next to a ally. He looks down and sees a man slay heartless with one hit. Its rare to see that so it was clear this man was not like the others.
Ardrid smiles before drawing his sword and jumping down from the roof top blocking the mans way. Ardrid takes up kendo stance with his katana not saying a word as he takes off running in zig zags and comes at the unknown man with a downward slash.

Tearoff heard the sound of a door opening, but paid no mind. He didn't think it odd. He continued eating his apple, listening to the footsteps. Though it wasn't odd, he sure wasn't going to take any chances. Once the footsteps stopped, however, he looked up. A Kendo stance. He narrowed his yellow eyes. This person was just a kid, no more then twenty, by the looks of him. Possibly even younger then that. Tearoff, using his right hand, took ORION from the scabbard, and easily blocked the attack. "You must have something better then this, young man," he commented, biting into his apple and looking quite bored.
He eyed the kid's muscles, and gave a small sneer. Brawn isn't going to help him win THIS fight, the older man thought. He himself wasn't too muscular, but he didn't rely on physical strength. His power was within his lean and quick body, as well as his keen ability to sense things. He pushed the kid off of him, and finished off his apple, dropping the core beside him. "Haven't your parents told you how dishonorable it is to attack a harmless citizen?"

what a sword, what a fine sword is all ardird could think when he saw that sword he could only think about how skilled this man could be and the fight he would have. His first attack was blocked so its clear more power more speed is what he needed to win. That and his great skill in dark magic, if it gets to that point he will not hold back.
{ "You must have something better then this, young man," } this unknown person said as if Ardrid would be a easy win. Ardrid smaled and took a jump back and said " well I was not even trying with that attack. The next one will not be as easy to deal with." Ardrid then holds up his arm and darkness forms in his palm and it heats up. He then released it using Dark Firaga (shoots a torso sized fireball at his target and it explodes on impact dealing out mid fire damage to the target. It can burn.) and then he runs full speed at Tearoff and jumps into the air diving down to try and stab Tearoff in the left arm.

Tearoff watched the young man jump back. "Well, I was not even trying with that attack. The next one will not be as easy to deal with," he said. Tearoff almost rolled his eyes. But, then the Dark Firaga came straight at him, taking away the bored face of the older man. The Dark Firaga hit him right in the chest, making him fly backwards. Luckily, that meant the kid's downward slash missed, as Tearoff was thrown to the ground, his chest smoking and his clothes slightly burnt.
"What...the hell...is your problem?" Tearoff managed to gasp out, putting a hand to his burn. "What's your quarrel with me?" He was used to attacks out of spite, used to attacks that HE started. This, though, was different. Here he was, just minding his own business, then some random kid with impressive magic attacks him. Tearoff stood, wiping dust off of him, then held up ORION in a defensive stance, waiting. He was actually curious to learn why he was the target of the kid's fire.

Ardrid smiled and said "Sorry but I can't go easy on you, I need too test you sorry." Ardrid then uses his Dark Firaga again.

"Sorry, but I can't go easy on you. I need to test you. Sorry," the kid spoke again, and Tearoff clenched his fists around ORION. Fine, he thought. Bring it on. He was ready for this, ready to totally kick this kid's sorry ass. When the Dark Firaga was shot out of the kid's hands, Tearoff blocked it with ORION, then ran at the kid and grabbed his neck with the right hand. "Don't ever do the same trick twice," Tearoff said, smirking. "Anyway, I think we got off on the wrong foot. Hello, I'm Tearoff. And, you are?"
Without waiting for an answer, Tearoff punched the kid in the stomach. We don't all have to depend on magic to get what we want, he told himself. I may not be strong, but at least my punches aren't gonna miss him. He yawned. "This battle is really starting to bore me. Sure, you've got strength, and you sure do show promise, but you have no CONTROL on your strength." He gave this a thought, then said, "Watch." In an instant, his left hand turned to a blue demon hand, and he slashed downward at the kid, the long sharp claws glinting in the harsh moonlight.

He let the man grab him and hit him in the gut but when he saw that claw he used his Black out sword attack and struck the claw as his blade was engulfed by the darkness then he did a roll to avoid the claw. "Ardrid..." The boy said as he got up and said "That was not bad but I know you can't beat me.. would you like to see why I say that?" He that opens his shirt showing a coin hanging from a string around his neck. He then jumped back onto the roof top and said "Darkness!" and then came a dragon made from only bones, no skin just bones. It flys over Ardrid then Ardrid runs up the tail of the dargon getting on its back before yelling would you like to see what I can really do?"

Once Tearoff's move was deflected, the older man clicked his tongue. "Good, good," he said. He stepped back, running his demon claw through his long, blond hair. "Ardrid..." the boy answered Tearoff's earlier question. Weird name, Tearoff thought, but said nothing. "That was not bad, but I know you can't beat me...would you like to see why I say that?" Tearoff sighed. "No, not...or, you can show me anyway." He looked at the coin, and missed the call the kid did. Once the dragon came up, however, Tearoff was all attention.
Would you like to see what I can really do?" Ardrid yelled. Tearoff shrugged. "Might as well," he replied. "I got nothing better to do." He took out the Drie Bow and a few arrows from the backpack laying on the ground. In one move, he had six arrows notched and the weapon was aimed. "Come on," he coaxed. "Let's see what that baby dragon of yours can do!"
Guess I'll recap...

Ardrid took a big jump moving about 12 feet from his dragon who opened his mouth and fired a Evil fire blast. He shot the flame down most of the closed in little ally "You asked for it Tearoff. Oh by the way you have a very very weird name." He then smiled as he got himslef in a stance.

Tearoff saw the fire blast coming, and easily dodged it. "If you're just gonna fire blindly, you're not fit to fight," he said. "And, yes, I know I have a weird name. Shall we discuss the origin, or get on with the fight?" He wasn't impatient; mainly annoyed. Here was this kid, randomly starting a fight with him, and Tearoff learned that the kid wasn't even THAT great of a fighter. He was also quite irritating. He watched Ardrid get in stance, then narrowed his eyes. If he could get ORION through the rib cage, this battle would be done with. Just don't stab him too hard; this kid has so much potential. He himself got in a stance, waiting for Ardrid to come at him.
If he lost this, he wasn't sure what he'd do. Losing to a teenager...harsh. It'd be even worse if Ardrid were to kill him. He was supposed to be avenging the death of his wife. How could he do so if he died?

Ardrid broke his stance and looked at the dragon and said "tell me what is the point of this... I will just ask you.... Can I have that sword?" He said as he walked over to tearoff and cased something of a fake smile as he said "I was just trying to get you to use the weapon its very cool looking and I could use it so how about it? Oh you will not have to fear a sneak attack I am a magic user close combat is not my best skill." he said as he held out his hand as if tearoff would just give him the sword.

Tearoff stared at the kid like he was crazy. He raised one eyebrow. Man, that was one quick fight. "No, you may not. You can have fun with your dragon. This is MY weapon." This kid was insane. Tearoff cocked his head to the side. Insane, yes, but he certainly is strong, and he does intrigue me. I'm sorry, but I need this sword. And, it's very special to me." He put it in his scabbard and frowned. "Now, why don't you scurry along your way." He wasn't trying to be mean...he just wasn't sure how to talk to kids this age.
((Sorry it's so short...))
